Domestic Violence Training
On behalf of the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference and the Office of Criminal Justice Programs, we are pleased to present a Domestic Violence Training scheduled for February 23-25, 2011 at the Marriott Hotel, 500 Hill Ave. SE, and The Family Justice Center, 400 Harriet Tubman St., in Knoxville, TN. This project is funded under an agreement with the State of Tennessee, Department of Finance and Administration, Office of Criminal Justice Programs and is supported by Award #2009-EF-S6-002.
Registration will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis and enrollment will be limited to 90 attendees. The program is designed to be a multi-disciplinary training with an emphasis on the prosecutor's role in domestic violence cases. Only those who prosecute and/or work with victims of domestic violence (i.e. the victim witness coordinator or investigator) will be eligible to attend.
