This public comment policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for public participation and comment during TNDAGC meetings. This policy is designed to ensure that meetings are conducted in an orderly, respectful, and efficient manner for all public meetings of the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference.
Members of the public who wish to comment must sign up when they arrive prior to the beginning of the meeting. Comments should be limited to three minutes and be germane to a topic on the meeting agenda. Speakers will be called in the order of which they signed up. This time period is for public comment and not questions. Photography, recording, and filming by the public are prohibited at TNDAGC meetings.
All commenters are expected to be respectful. Disruptive behavior, profanity, personal attacks, shouting, inflammatory language, and off-topic remarks will not be tolerated. Commenters who violate the policy can receive restrictions up to and including removal from the meeting.
This policy has been approved by the Executive Committee and Membership of the TNDAGC on June 12, 2025, and shall remain in effect until amended or discontinued by the Executive Committee of the Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference.
