Austin was born in February 1997, the second-born of a set of triplets. His brother Micah arrived one minute before him, and his sister McKenzie one minute later. Together, they formed a unique and unbreakable bond. He was curious, strategic and kind-hearted: a reader, a player, a searcher. Alongside his father, Micah and McKenzie, he visited 49 of the 50 U.S. states. On the first anniversary of his death, his family traveled to Alaska, the one state they had not yet explored together, and released some of his ashes there.
