James was a hardworking man who loved life. He wasn't scared to take a chance on anything. He always greeted everyone with a smile, never met a stranger, and was a great husband. My ringtone for him was Sanford and Son and that fit him perfectly! A handyman by trade, he acquired so many things given to him that I'm still going through them. You should often find him in overalls and a sleeveless shirt. He didn't require anything fancy to be happy. He was content with loving the Lord, loving his family and friends, and taking care of our dogs. James was forever bringing home a new dog. We enjoyed spending time with them, taking them on walks and for a pup cup. All 7 miss him terribly. One of James roles he was most excited about was being a Paw Paw, which happened just a few months before he was killed. He was looking forward to spending time with his grandkids and teaching them things. We just all miss James. He was a great man and was loved by so many people.
