Brittany Lavalle serves as the Deputy Executive Director- Legal Services and Policy, leading the Legal Services, Legislative, Training, and Child Support divisions of the Conference. She has also served the Conference as the Deputy Executive Director - Operations with the Fiscal, Human Resources, and Information Services teams and as the Education and Training Attorney providing training on a wide variety of topics to our prosecutors, criminal investigators, and victim witness coordinator personnel.  She is a career prosecutor with experience managing a docket of serious violent felonies in a variety of suburban, rural, and urban jurisdictions and leading a special victims unit. 

Immediately prior to her time at TNDAGC, she served as Disciplinary Counsel in the Litigation division at the Board of Professional Responsibility of the Supreme Court of Tennessee.

Brittany received her bachelor’s degrees in English and Political Science from the University of Georgia and her law degree from Mercer University. She resides in Franklin, TN with her husband, son, and daughter.
