Summer 2026 Law Clerk
We want to help you get a job. But not just any job - a job that expects you to do the right thing, for the right reason, every day. We want to help you become an advocate for justice; we want to help you become a Tennessee prosecutor. That's why this summer we're welcoming a cohort of students to join us for a paid ($26 per hour) clerkship program. In the program you can expect a crash course in all things prosecution and hands-on experience in a local district office.
You'll leave the summer not only with a host of connections for future job opportunities, but as thorough an introduction to the field of prosecution as you can find. Applicants should be current 1L or 2L law students with a demonstrated interest in prosecution and criminal law. Applicants will need a competitive GPA and dedication to learning about the pursuit of justice. You will need to commit to the program full-time for the summer of 2026 and be able to pass all necessary background checks. The program kicks off with a week in Nashville followed by rotations across the state of Tennessee based on the applicants' interest.
To apply, please send a writing sample, cover letter, your resume, and a copy of your transcript (official or unofficial) to Gabrielle Cintorino, gacintorino@tndagc.org.
